MOA Cultural Interpreter Ambassador Adventure
Led the planning and coordination of a Cultural Interpreter-led tour at UBC’s Museum of Anthropology, offering student ambassadors a meaningful encounter with Indigenous belongings, storytelling, and cultural education.
Okanagan Live Virtual Campus Tours Shadowing Coordination
Assisted in organizing a specialized training project that offers UBC Vancouver Campus Student Ambassadors the opportunity to observe Okanagan campus tours. This porject aims to enhance their understanding of the Okanagan campus experience, fostering greater awareness of the academic, social, and community opportunities available to prospective students across both campuses. The program strengthens cross-campus collaboration and resource/ knowledge exchange.
Research on Community-Based Conservation
For my GEOG 310: Environment and Sustainability class, I examined the effectiveness of community-based conservation (CBC) compared to protectionist models. I argued that CBC better supports Indigenous communities by involving them in conservation efforts, providing both ecological and economic benefits. Through case studies like the Lacandon Community Forest and the Maya Biosphere Reserve, I demonstrated how CBC can enhance biodiversity protection while empowering local communities.
False Creek: the Sea2City Design Challenge
As part of the Sea2City Design Challenge, I collaborated with CityStudio and the City of Vancouver on their coastal adaptation plan for False Creek. This project focused on evaluating the impact of sea level rise on vulnerable communities. I conducted site visits, reviewed design proposals, and critiqued the plans, particularly concerning unsheltered cyclists who were overlooked in the design.
Urban Warfare: The Case of Gaza’s Infrastructure
In a research project focused on urban politics and conflict, I authored a report titled "Urban Warfare: The Case of Gaza’s Infrastructure," which examines the systematic destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza, referred to as urbicide. Through this analysis, I investigated how Israeli tactics, including airstrikes and blockades, have targeted water, sanitation, housing, and electricity systems, creating a humanitarian crisis while undermining Palestinian urban resilience.
In-person Campus Tour Presentation
Delivered pre-tour presentations to prospective students and their families before the walking tour of our Vancouver campus. The presentations focused on three key themes—learning, location, and community—highlighting the those aspects of UBC.
Neoliberal Globalization Meets Settler Colonialism: The Case of the Jerusalem Light Rail
In my essay, Neoliberal Globalization Meets Settler Colonialism: The Case of the Jerusalem Light Rail, I analyze the role of the Jerusalem Light Rail (JLR) as a mechanism of Israeli settler colonialism in East Jerusalem. The paper investigates how the JLR serves as a tool for territorial control, connecting Israeli settlements while displacing Palestinian communities and reinforcing Israel’s authority over East Jerusalem.
What is Fast Fashion?
A research initative that led to the creation of an educational resource. The resource provides an introduction to the fast fashion industry and the environmental and social injustices cost of having a reliance on such an unjust and unsustainable system.
U.S Info Days Event
Prospective students from the US and their families joined us this fall to discover the University of British Columbia. Attendees toured our stunning Vancouver campus, engaged with current students and advisors, and learned about undergraduate programs, admissions, scholarships, and student life. The event featured a guided campus tour, interactive panel discussions, and opportunities to connect with other US-based prospective students.

This activity included a tour of the Pacific Museum of Earth as part of Ambassador Adventures Programming. This series allows Student Ambassadors to learn about parts of campus and UBC.
Belkin Art Gallery Ambassador Adventure
Organized and led an Ambassador Adventure to UBC’s Decolonization Tour at the Belkin Gallery, exploring Indigenous art and the themes of settler colonialism, reconciliation, and decolonization.
Community Engagement Assistant
As a Community Engagement Assistant at CCEL, I played an integral role in fostering collaboration between UBC students, faculty, and community organizations to tackle social and environmental challenges. My work involved supporting the development and management of community-university partnerships through research, event planning, and program coordination. I assisted in facilitating community dialogues, workshops, and meetings, ensuring smooth logistical operations for various events.
International Recruitment Assistant
I worked as an International Recruitment Assistant at UBC Campus Tour in the academic year 2024-2025. My role included providing support for the day-to-day operations of the campus tours program and the planning, development, and execution of in-person and virtual recruitment programs and events.

I served as a Project Coordinator for a research initative funded by the UBC Centre for Community Engaged Learning and Threading Change, a Vancouver-based foundation that raises awareness about the fast fashion industry and its impact on the environment.
